Pastor Charles Cheatham
Pastor Charles Cheatham joined Shiloh Baptist Church as interim pastor on January 5, 2020. He and his wife, Glenda, have one son and one daughter and two great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Brother Cheatham has been in pastoral ministry for 49 years having pastored in North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. He served locally at Smyrna Baptist Church and Boanerges Baptist Church. He also served as Director of Missions for West Polk County for ten years.
Be prayerful as God uses pastor Cheatham to guide SBC during this interim period as the search is ongoing for God's choice for pastor.
Jan Wilson, our Secretary since April 2018 is a member of Waterville Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. She retired from Windstream Communications in 2014 and Luffman Byers Telecom in January of 2018, having worked 25 years in the telephone industry. Jan and her husband Wayne live in Cleveland. Jan enjoys small group Bible studies, writing, playing piano and scrapbooking. Her favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Cassondra Bishop, our former Children's Minister, has been a part of Shiloh Baptist Church for 20 years. She began volunteering in the youth and children's ministries after high school and has been serving as our interim Youth Director since November of 2019. Cassondra has a degree in Elementary and Middle Grades Education from Lee University and a masters degree from Carson Newman University. She teaches 5th grade at Park View Elementary. Cassondra enjoys spending time with family, singing, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols during football season. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 63:3 "Because your love is better than life, my lips will praise you!"
Interim Music Minister
Daniel Sharp, our Interim Music Minister, has been serving in ministry for over 30 years. Originally from Ohio, he transplanted to Tennessee when he received his Bachelors degree in Church Music from Lee University. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, birding, riding his motorcycle, and cheering on THE Ohio State buckeyes during football season. His favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint."
Derek & Julie Faulkner are serving as interim Children's Ministry Directors. They have a sincere passion for teaching the gospel message to children.
